Global Tech Leaders to attain Paris AI Action Summit 2025

Many global leaders along with government representatives, researchers, shareholders, businessmen, artists, journalists, civil society and AI experts from different countries are going to attend Paris AI Action Summit 2025, that is touted to be the biggest artificial intelligence event of the year. 

According to French President Emmanuel Macron, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to attend this event. The event aims to discuss the use of AI-powered systems while reducing the risk of the technology. On Day 1 there will be conferences, roundtable discussions, and presentations that will focus on AI solutions are scheduled.

On Day 2, the summit of Heads of State and Government is set to take place. The OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is also expected to attend the event on 11th February. As reported by the Indian Express, Indian PM Modi and French Prez Macron, US Vice President JD Vance, including the top executives of Microsoft and Google the US tech giants will also attend the summit as a part of the American delegation.

The Paris AI Action Summit’s agenda is to focus on safety, governance, and innovation with the aim to highlight the areas including open-source AI systems, clean energy to power data centres, AI impact on labour, distributing AI’s benefits to developing nations, and promoting sovereignty in a global AI market.

However, the Paris AI Action Summit will be similar to the AI Safety Summit that was held in the United Kingdom in the year 2023 and a smaller gathering in Seoul, South Korea, last year in 2024.
