GRVT Integrates Onramper for Direct Crypto-Fiat Exchange Deposits

Hybrid cryptocurrency exchange GRVT (pronounced “gravity”), the world’s first regulated DEX, has integrated Onramper, enabling users to quickly deposit funds using a range of convenient fiat payment methods. With more than 20 popular onramps integrated into its platform, Onramper makes it easy for users to securely purchase digital assets using fiat currency.

Onramper has been designed to solve one of the greatest challenges web3 users face: getting funds on-chain. Its integration by GRVT means that users of the exchange now have a reliable route for moving funds onto the platform, allowing them to start trading faster. Its service is relied on by leading crypto companies including wallets, centralized exchanges, and DeFi protocols.

Through a user-friendly interface, Onramper displays the optimal price, payment method, and onramp combination selected. After paying Onramper using fiat currency, the user receives the equivalent amount in crypto such as USDT to the wallet address of their choice.

Onramper essentially acts as an additional layer between the fiat onramp and the destination of the crypto funds being acquired. Instead of making a purchase directly to their own wallet, the user can request that assets be sent to their GRVT deposit address, saving time and reducing fees through eliminating the need to reroute funds from their personal wallet.

Following GRVT’s integration of Onramper, users can have funds transferred directly to their exchange account via the XY Bridge. Because Onramper supports a host of web3-friendly fiat gateways, users have a choice on onramps and can select the solution with which they are most comfortable. Options include Binance P2P, Coinify, Moonpay, and Revolut.

GRVT accepts crypto deposits from the Ethereum and Arbitrum networks, with Arbitrum deposits rooted by XY Bridge within approximately five minutes. The integration of Onramper provides a means of using this route even without holding crypto in a compatible wallet. Instead, payment can be made via credit or debit card using one of Onramper’s supported onramps before the USDT conversion is made.

GRVT’s integration of Onramper is part of a broader goal to simplify onboarding to its hybrid exchange, making it easier for new users to sign up and for existing ones to explore its growing range of markets.

About GRVT

GRVT (pronounced “gravity”) is the world’s first regulated DEX that operates as a self-custodial CEX. We aim to enable anyone to buy, sell, trade, and invest in financial products, leveraging smart contracts to ensure self-custody, scalability, and security. Traditional finance operates on outdated infrastructure, resulting in high costs and limited accessibility, whereas DeFi grapples with challenges of complexity and scalability. GRVT bridges these gaps and is building a unified global financial system that scales far beyond crypto.
