Initia, a blockchain project focusing on multi-chain infrastructure, has announced a massive airdrop of 50 million INIT tokens to reward early supporters ahead of its upcoming mainnet launch.
The distribution accounts for 5% of the project’s total supply of 1 billion tokens.
The majority of the airdrop, approximately 90% or approximately 44.7 million tokens, will be allocated to 194,294 users who participated in Initia’s 2024 testnet campaigns. These campaigns included interactive on-chain events, including “Jennie,” a virtual pet breeding initiative designed to test the robustness of Initia’s infrastructure.

In addition to testnet participants, 2.25 million INITs (4.5%) will be distributed to active users of Initia’s ecosystem partners, including LayerZero, IBC, and MilkyWay, based on transaction history. Another 3 million tokens (6%) will be allocated to social contributors who have played a role in growing Initia’s presence on Discord, Telegram, and X.
The Initia Foundation has announced that internal contributors are excluded from the airdrop, ensuring that the rewards remain within the broader community. Users can check their eligibility via Initia’s official airdrop website.
