Bitget To Sponsor Flávio Sampaio for the 2025 Porsche Cup Brazil

Bitget, a well-known crypto exchange, is now the official sponsor of professional driver Flávio Sampaio for the 2025 Porsche Cup Brazil. This partnership is a big milestone, as Bitget is the first trading platform to sponsor a team in this racing series.

The Porsche Cup Brazil, Latin America’s largest Grand Touring race, will begin its season in April 2025.

Bitget Brings Crypto Into Motorsport

As announced in a press release, Sampaio’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup will be painted in Bitget’s signature black and cyan blue. By displaying its logo on the car, Bitget hopes to attract the attention of motorsport fans and potential crypto investors.

Flávio Sampaio is also excited about the partnership. He believes motorsport and crypto have a lot in common, as both attract passionate people about technology, risk-taking, and high performance.

He hopes to bring more fans into the crypto world as he joins forces with Bitget.

Bitget Token Sees an Increase in Value

Following the sponsorship announcement, Bitget’s native token, BGB, has seen a price increase. In the last 24 hours, the token skyrocketed by more than 2%, reaching a high of $5.09.

Over the past week, BGB has increased 8.14%, while its daily trading volume has jumped by 34.4% to nearly $148 million. This growth shows that more people are interested in the exchange, especially with its new presence in motorsports.

Bitget has made significant efforts to streamline its operations and boost its utility. Last December, the trading platform merged Bitget Wallet Token (BWB) with its native token BGB

This move was to create a unique token that bridges centralized and decentralized crypto platforms.

Bitget Sees Growth Opportunity in Brazil

Bitget CEO, Gracy Chen believes this sponsorship will help more people in Brazil learn about crypto. The Porsche Cup Brazil usually attracts a huge audience, making it a great way to introduce digital assets to new users.

Brazil has become a major player in the crypto space. Recent data revealed that the country has the second-highest crypto transaction volume in Latin America, with Argentina in first place.

The Brazilian government has embraced crypto and blockchain innovations and is working to make digital assets a bigger part of daily life. Officials have proposed a bill that would allow employees to receive up to 50% of their salary in crypto.

If approved, the bill would also require companies to educate workers about the risks and benefits of digital assets.
