DAS 2025: What Crypto Should Expect from Trump’s Speech?

President Donald Trump will be delivering a speech to the Digital Asset Summit (DAS) in New York City on March 20, 2025, the first ever by a sitting U.S. president at a cryptocurrency industry conference.

His speech is eagerly anticipated, except for major announcements in the administration’s cryptocurrency policies. President Trump has moved significantly to bring digital assets on board the national financial plan since his inauguration on January 20.

Early in March, he issued an executive order creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and a U.S. Digital Asset Stockpile, intending to make the United States a world leader in the crypto arena. The reserve is supposed to comprise a range of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and Ripple (XRP).

The DAS 2025 event features a lineup of prominent figures from both the crypto industry and government. Notable attendees include Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, and Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple.

At the summit, Garlinghouse stated that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had dropped its case against Ripple, a huge win for the company.

Bo Hines, Director of the Presidential Council on Crypto, addressed DAS this week, pointing out the Trump administration’s focus on creating a sizable Bitcoin reserve. He said, “It’s high time for our president to start accumulating assets for the American people, which President Trump is doing instead of withdrawing them.”

Trump’s crypto outreach and Bitcoin reserve aim to position the U.S. as a global leader in digital assets and integrate them into the national financial strategy.
