Pocket Network has announced the six teams selected for the Winter 2025 cohort of the Pocket Gateway Accelerator Program (PGAT). These projects are building decentralized gateways that redefine how applications interact with open data by using the Shannon Upgrade on Pocket Network.
The selected teams—Reppo Labs, Verve AI, SwanBlocks, Developer DAO Cloud, Pattern, and Vistia—will focus on developing infrastructure solutions aimed at enhancing decentralized data access. Their work will culminate in Demo Day this April, where they will showcase their progress to the broader Web3 ecosystem.
Introducing the Winter 2025 PGAT Cohort
- Reppo Labs: Building a Data-AI Coordination Network, allowing data owners and AI agents to collaborate seamlessly through Shannon’s permissionless gateways.
- Verve AI: An AI-powered on-chain research platform, delivering real-time insights for institutional investors and portfolio managers.
- SwanBlocks: A backend and tooling platform for AI agents, making blockchain interactions seamless for businesses.
- Developer DAO Cloud (D_D Cloud): Focused on high-performance decentralized infrastructure, providing developer teams access to decentralized storage and compute networks.
- Pattern: Developing an agentic RAG gateway, enabling AI-driven applications to retrieve both real-time on-chain and off-chain data.
- Vistia: An AI-driven trading bot platform, leveraging decentralized data signals and social gateways for real-time market intelligence.

For developers integrating decentralized data into their applications, this program provides both funding and infrastructure support without requiring equity. The Pocket Gateway Accelerator Program offers technical grants to incentivize builders. The projects accepted will receive:
- $5K upfront upon acceptance.
- $20K over 12 months upon successful integration of a Shannon-based gateway.
- Technical support from the Pocket team.
- Exposure through Demo Day and community events.

The Shannon Upgrade, named in tribute to information theory pioneer Claude Shannon, introduces new capabilities for developers building on Pocket Network:

- Privacy Protocols: Support for encrypted communication, decentralized identity, and zero-knowledge proofs for enhanced security.
- Decentralized Social Protocols: Enabling social platforms where users retain sovereignty over their data and interactions.
