On February 1, the Shiba Inu leader shared a video clip on X. The 23-second video suggests that the team is preparing to announce a major update relating to the SHIB ecosystem.
In particular, the video builds anticipation among community members through enticing phrases like ‘something is shifting’ and ‘the key to the future is about to be unlocked.’
Moreover, the post suggests the upcoming update will ‘change everything’ within the Shiba Inu ecosystem and possibly the entire crypto space. It concludes with the statement, ‘Something big is coming.’

Despite the teaser, the Shiba Inu lead developer reacted with a zipper-mouth face emoji. This typically implies that while something significant relating to the Shiba Inu ecosystem is in the works, the team is not ready to reveal its details.

The user noted that old Shiba Inu investors who call out this repeated pattern are accused of spreading FUDs. Okami added that it appears the team is currently targeting new investors who are unaware of this history.
“Maybe we’ll see something significant during the next bear market or in the bull run five years from now. But for now, the community appears numb to the same old song,” the user added.
