As the Pi Network approaches its Know Your Customer (KYC) deadline on January 31, 2025, the community is buzzing with speculation on the price of Pi coin. While strong believers, aka pioneers, believe the value to be far greater than others, certain market analysts are debating whether it will cross $100 or not.
Currently, Pi coin is trading at around $44 in the pre-markets of various crypto exchanges and has reached highs of $350, so expecting a $100 is not too much. However, hamster coin lauch has taught us not to trust pre-markets much on this kind of easy-to-get coin.
While exact price prediction is not guaranteed, volatility will be there as the mainnet launch is scheduled for Q1 2025.
Speaking of Pi coin price movements, it has been in a holding pattern, hovering just above an ascending trendline formed since September 2024.
Technical analysis shows a double-bottom pattern along with a falling wedge, both indicating a bullish momentum. If the mainnet launch does happen in the near future, the Pi coin price can skyrocket.
However, the coin has also shown sensitivity to delays, as since September, the team has continued to extend the KYC grace period, and a further delay can drop the price significantly.
Key Levels to Watch
Analysts have identified key price levels for Pi Coin in the upcoming weeks:
- A bullish confirmation could see the price reaching $100, especially if the mainnet launch confirms the positive chart patterns.
- Conversely, any further delay or negative news might push the price down to $28, reflecting the lowest point in 2024.
Recently, Pi Core Team had announced that two out of three conditions for the mainnet launch are already met. Substantial numbers of users migrating coins to the mainnet, favorable external market conditions, and the launch of mainnet-ready apps.
The first batch of 20 mainnet apps has already been launched on the network, and more are ready to follow.
With the mainnet launch anticipated within the first quarter of 2025, all eyes are on Pi Network and Pi coin price.
