WLFI Meets Binance Founder to Discuss Global Crypto Growth
In a strategic move to accelerate its global influence, World Liberty Financial (WLFI)—a crypto initiative backed by the Donald Trump family—held a pivotal meeting with Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) on April 27 in Abu Dhabi. WLFI co-founders Zach Witkoff, Zak Folkman, and Chase Hero led the discussions, aiming to explore collaborative ways to foster widespread cryptocurrency adoption and elevate global industry standards.
Describing the engagement as “only the beginning,” WLFI hinted at the possibility of ongoing discussions with Zhao. The meeting is a clear indication of the firm’s intent to expand beyond the U.S. and engage with global crypto leaders.
Zhao, acknowledging the significance of the meeting, expressed concern over how it might be portrayed by traditional media. He remarked,
“I have a feeling the traditional media will try to make up some negative story about this.”
He also reiterated that past claims tying him to investment deals involving the Trump family and Binance.US were entirely false, labeling them as attempts to undermine both the presidency and the crypto sector.
WLFI Signs MoU With Pakistan Crypto Council
Adding momentum to its international expansion, WLFI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) shortly after the Abu Dhabi meeting. The agreement aims to empower Pakistan’s youth by promoting financial inclusion and driving blockchain innovation.
WLFI co-founder Zach Witkoff stated:
“This partnership reflects WLFI’s commitment to fostering diverse economic opportunities.”
Bilal Bin Saqib, CEO of PCC and now a strategic advisor to WLFI, emphasized the collaboration’s broader potential. He said:
“Our goal is to work alongside industry leaders and showcase Pakistan as a global case study in how emerging markets can harness blockchain to create transformative opportunities.”
Looking Ahead
WLFI’s recent engagements mark a significant step in its mission to reshape the global crypto landscape. By partnering with key players like CZ and establishing ties in emerging markets, WLFI is actively positioning itself as a driver of innovation, inclusion, and long-term growth in the digital economy.
